Wilson still wants new drivers

Malcolm Wilson is still keen on having a new, third, driver in the BP Ford Abu Dhabi Team, even though he failed to sign Sebastian Ogier.

It’s back to the drawing board in a sense. We will continue to look for ways to strengthen the team for the longer term. It’s a disappointment but it’s not the end of the world. We will regroup and look at other options.” said Wilson.

Wilson was approached by Ogier's PR team a while back, but after a tense number of days, it was announced that he will stay with the Citroen team for the next three years, until 2013.

Despite this set-back, Wilson still wants to see different young drivers driving an M-Sport run Ford Focus WRC. Wilson is still keeping an open mind about running P-G Andersson again later in the season. Next weeks Rally Finland will also witness the return of four times World Champion Juha Kankkunen with Ford. Kankkunen is eyeing a Top 10 finish, and a fight with Kimi Raikkonen.
